The mission of the Deacons is to glorify God by providing compassionate care, support, resources, and fellowship to the members of our families, church and community, and to encourage individuals and their families in times of joy and sorrow as they seek God’s healing power and grace through prayer, presence and tangible acts of service.

At First Presbyterian, the elders primarily serve as guides and shepherds, acting as the church's conscience and protectors. Their role does not involve overseeing specific projects or ministries but rather supervising the entire church. They assess all activities within the church in alignment with its mission, resources and doctrine.
