Welcome Home

First Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers celebrated its 100th birthday on March 7, 2001. First Presbyterian can truly say it has been, and continues to be, an integral part of the community and a vital place of Christian ministry, holding to the timeless truths of Christianity. In 2015, FPC unanimously voted to leave PCUSA and  joined the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Since we are in the Heart of Fort Myers, for years members and visitors walked to church. Some who lived across the Caloosahatchee River or on the Orange River actually came by boat. Those traditions continue today as we have members living in downtown’s new condo and apartment complexes and shipboard in the City Yacht Basin. Of course we also have members and visitors from all parts of Lee County and from different states during season who are finding out that First Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers is just one more reason to come downtown.
The Mission Statement of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers is: Living, sharing and teaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a community of faith celebrating a loving God. It is not just a church; it is a fellowship of believers coming together to declare the glory of the Lord, and to celebrate Jesus as King. We study the Word, practice what we learn, and in the process grow together. We seek to develop fully devoted and spiritually driven followers of Jesus Christ.

Join us on Sunday morning at 11:00 AM as Pastor Paul de Jong challenges us to think through our faith and Rev. Roger Peterson brings the Word to life through music.
