Ronald McDonald House

Pop Tab Collections

Collecting pop tabs is a great way to teach kids about philanthropy and the importance of recycling, and raise money to help children and their families at the same time.

Ronald McDonald Houses collect pop tabs instead of entire aluminum cans because it’s more hygienic to store tabs than cans, and collection and storage is easier. The program is an easy way for people of all ages to support Ronald McDonald House Charities. Bring your donations to the church office on Sunday or anytime during the week.

Souper Bowl of Caring

Souper Bowl of Caring is a national youth-led movement that empowers youth to collect dollars and food for people in need and volunteer in local communities. In recent years, more than $10 million has been collected annually to fight hunger and poverty.

Souper Bowl of Caring uses the energy of the Super Bowl football game to mobilize youth to assist hunger-relief agencies at a time when food consumption is high, yet donations have decreased after the holidays.

100% of the money collected by our youth through the Souper Bowl of Caring is donated directly to the local charity of our choice, CCMI (the Soup Kitchen) of Fort Myers.
